You might not believe these were my breakfast LOL. It was the first morning in Pattaya, I didn't know what to eat for breakfast. I found these in refrigerator so I ate them (but not all of them). They seemed to be the sweetest breakfast ever!

way to home :)

It was really long time I haven't uploaded any new photos. But here are couple of pictures, taking during the way back to home last month. I was on the train lol it's free here! That was very nice day to take the photo, in fact  it was pretty hot day (as usual). I couldn't see the colors so clear till I uploaded them to my computer, then I found that the colors were really bright and beautiful...

Here is the middle of the way..and this is the normal scene that you usually see from train...

You can see the classic train in the middle of picture, I'm not sure but the sign said 'museum'... but all I could see was only a train but very classic...re-painted...I'll take the closer look (if I don't forget lol)

Ratchaprapa dam

There are few beautiful scenes of Ratchaprapa Dam. The sun was too hot on that day and we had only short time to drop by so I could not take so many pictures - -" but thank to the sun, the pictures are so beautiful and bright :)

" Green grass, Silver water and bright blue sky...they all are enchanting!!"

Tsunami memorial park

These are the emotional places. The first one is  the Baan Nam Kem Tsunami memorial park. There are the names of Tsunami victims on the right wall. The rest are the pictures of 2 big boats from the coast. They were taken by the great Tsunami wave. They crashed into many buildings and villages and damaged many lives....

Baan Don Bosco, Bang Sak

These are the pictures from Baan Don Bosco Bangsak, Surat Thani. (The Don Bosco center at Surat Thani province). This is the home for tsunami victims children, who had lost their family due to the great tsunami years ago and also for the children whose families suffer from the consequences of tsunami. Here, they are well looked after and educated as much as they prefer. I went there to help them painting their new basketball court and also playing games with them. That was my big volunteering activity!!

This boy walked into my frame during my panorama photo taking, :)

Don wai

These are some pictures from our final project of first year students lives. We took these photos from ‘ตลาดริมน้ำวัดดอนหวาย (talad rimnam wat donwai) or ‘Donwai riverside market’. Our project studied the effect of developments, when local floating market became well known riverside market. This market is famed for the local products, delicious Thai desserts and ‘Ped Palo’ or 'Pot-stewed duck' which is the key to development, since the newspaper published the column about the incomparable deliciousness of pot-stewed duck from Donwai riverside market. We took a lot of photos but I cannot upload all of them here. The files are too big. If you have a chance, we invite you all to come and visit (and try plenty of food) here @ Talad rimnam wat Donwai.

I am not sure does it have the name in English or not. But in Thai we call ‘Khanom sodsai’. it can be compared to Japanese Mochi, but use the sweet coconut instead of red beans.  The outer layer made from flour and filling is made of coconut, coconut milk, sugar. Then we wrap each one with banana leaf, and steam.

'SWEETS'

I don't know the word in English for this dessert as well. It's like  a combination between cake and pie. The shape is looking cake, but there is sweet bean filling inside and the outer layer tastes like pie.

classic style of Thai-tricycle.

Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall

Today is the King's birthday, nation day and fathers day of Thailand...
this occasion is most suitable to present the photos which shows the Greatness of Thai Dynasty
Two years ago, I had an opportunity to be a guide for my dad's friend.
We had visited many places in Bangkok and  without doubt...this place impressed her very much.
This place is....
the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall

This place was a formal reception hall within Dusit Palace.
Nowadays, this place serves as a museum
Marble from Carrara, Italy was used to build this place
There was not much light, but the grass was bright...wasn't it?

This place is HUGE both in size and importance

While I was rearranging my files, I found these photos.
They are the photos of Thai silk peacocks.
I took these photos at the Queen exhibition for mothers day occasion.

This picture is quite dark ... I know but it is the only one
that you can see the two peacocks together.

Blue is the color of Friday, the day of the Queen's birth

although you can see only blue and gold peacocks,
do not quickly judge...there are 'at least 3 colors'

November, the fifth 2011

Each year, on the first Saturday of November, the cemetery of my church is full of candles and flowers...
bringing from the grateful hearts of families and relatives to their ancestors.
We have special mass for our loved ones who have passed

Only a few flowers and candles  this year
because of the flood in many areas in Thailand.
'When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down,
but even in death the righteous have a refuge (proverbs 14:32)
'For thou will light my candle, the LORD my God ...
will enlighten my darkness ( psalm 18:28)'

photos @ Suan Nai Dam (II)

Suan Nai Dam is located in Chumphon Province, in the south of Thailand.
This place is famous for being the orange garden, but there is not only the orange garden
but also the toilet garden... there are restrooms everywhere in Suan Suam zone...
here is one of the restrooms
This picture is quite unpleasant but do you know that this ^ ...
is the very effective organic fertilizer!!
That why it was named "Kon Tong" which means 'gold lump'
( this is a restroom)
...if you want to rest...
This is read "Suan-Nai-Dam"

Don Bosco among us

These are the small parts of the biggest events in my life...
when the relic/remains of st.John Bosco, our father, teacher and friend visited Thailand.
By the Time I post this I can not find the picture of his relics.
Anyway, these were the most colorful part of that day at my school.

To the South

Phuket, the lartgest island of Thailand with many tourist attractions.
For months ago, I had a chance to take these photos from Phromthep cape.
This place is famous for being the most beautiful place to see the sunset in Thailand,
but here I took the photos in daylight

This is the photo which I took by  using the panorama feature.

"at least 3 colors" brightened my day :)

"Wai khru 2010"

These are the pictures of my memories, the Wai Khru ceremony.
The beautiful ceremony where all the students pay respect to their teachers with their grateful hearts.
These are the parts of Phan Wai khru
(which you might call "the traditional Thai pedestalled trays)
The students make for their teachers.

This is the picture of my class,
the two ladies in the middle were our teachers, our beloved teachers (i miss you )
pictures were taken in 2010 via Panasonic DMC-FS42

I believe that without the last picture...there would not be "at least 3 colors"
and without you, 'Friends'...how would the world be :)
