You might not believe these were my breakfast LOL. It was the first morning in Pattaya, I didn't know what to eat for breakfast. I found these in refrigerator so I ate them (but not all of them). They seemed to be the sweetest breakfast ever!

way to home :)

It was really long time I haven't uploaded any new photos. But here are couple of pictures, taking during the way back to home last month. I was on the train lol it's free here! That was very nice day to take the photo, in fact  it was pretty hot day (as usual). I couldn't see the colors so clear till I uploaded them to my computer, then I found that the colors were really bright and beautiful...

Here is the middle of the way..and this is the normal scene that you usually see from train...

You can see the classic train in the middle of picture, I'm not sure but the sign said 'museum'... but all I could see was only a train but very classic...re-painted...I'll take the closer look (if I don't forget lol)

Ratchaprapa dam

There are few beautiful scenes of Ratchaprapa Dam. The sun was too hot on that day and we had only short time to drop by so I could not take so many pictures - -" but thank to the sun, the pictures are so beautiful and bright :)

" Green grass, Silver water and bright blue sky...they all are enchanting!!"

Tsunami memorial park

These are the emotional places. The first one is  the Baan Nam Kem Tsunami memorial park. There are the names of Tsunami victims on the right wall. The rest are the pictures of 2 big boats from the coast. They were taken by the great Tsunami wave. They crashed into many buildings and villages and damaged many lives....

Baan Don Bosco, Bang Sak

These are the pictures from Baan Don Bosco Bangsak, Surat Thani. (The Don Bosco center at Surat Thani province). This is the home for tsunami victims children, who had lost their family due to the great tsunami years ago and also for the children whose families suffer from the consequences of tsunami. Here, they are well looked after and educated as much as they prefer. I went there to help them painting their new basketball court and also playing games with them. That was my big volunteering activity!!

Don wai

These are some pictures from our final project of first year students lives. We took these photos from ‘ตลาดริมน้ำวัดดอนหวาย (talad rimnam wat donwai) or ‘Donwai riverside market’. Our project studied the effect of developments, when local floating market became well known riverside market. This market is famed for the local products, delicious Thai desserts and ‘Ped Palo’ or 'Pot-stewed duck' which is the key to development, since the newspaper published the column about the incomparable deliciousness of pot-stewed duck from Donwai riverside market. We took a lot of photos but I cannot upload all of them here. The files are too big. If you have a chance, we invite you all to come and visit (and try plenty of food) here @ Talad rimnam wat Donwai.

I am not sure does it have the name in English or not. But in Thai we call ‘Khanom sodsai’. it can be compared to Japanese Mochi, but use the sweet coconut instead of red beans.  The outer layer made from flour and filling is made of coconut, coconut milk, sugar. Then we wrap each one with banana leaf, and steam.

'SWEETS'

I don't know the word in English for this dessert as well. It's like  a combination between cake and pie. The shape is looking cake, but there is sweet bean filling inside and the outer layer tastes like pie.
